Target suggestion: Vegas Themed

Could be cool to have a Vegas themed target, containing a whole deck of card in a random pattern, and at the bottom there could be a few dice faces. This could open up a variety of games (poker hand, 21, etc) at the shooting range.

That is a neat idea. Would you want the cards completely random? Or sorted by suit?

Would black and white be ok? Or would you want hearts and diamonds red? Adding colours increases cost.

I assume we are talking about a 6 sided die instead if the 20 sided(great equalizer DnD).

We can definitely produce it, how many would you be interested? Would anyone else be interested in this?

I was thinking of all randomly placed to make it more interesting for timed challenges.
The dice faces would indeed be classic casino 6-faced (something along like 5 randomly placed dice totalizing 30 faces in several rows).
Of course having the hearts, diamonds and dice faces in red would be preferable, depending on the price difference.
Maybe it would be a good idea to make a mock up and make a poll to see if people would buy it at what price.

+1 yea that's good idea!, would it be hard for you guys make couple different variations in how cards are placed on the target, that way it be hard for guys with good memory to remember were what card is =)

I just got the quote from our supplier on these. The cost is more to produce but we will eat it.

They would be two colour. The diamonds/hearts will be red and the spades/clubs will be black.

Who would want to buy these and Do you want them in order or random?

Would prefer it if the high value cards were physically smaller than the low value cards, ie aces smaller and tougher to hit. Conversely, going for four deuces would be easier. Also having some dead spaces in the target to open up the possibility of a miss (for those non-CGNers). Best poker hand from 7 shots kind of thing. Maybe I'm getting too picky...

the poker hand is great way to play, the sheet would have 52 targets on it you could call the card and then shoot for it, play HORSE or something like that...

This Idea is moving forward, and is in the hands of our artist now. I think this will be a neat target, and we are looking forward to seeing it come to life.

The movie swat is ok, but IMO still doesn't hold a match to Ronin, Heat, Collateral, Dead presidents or Swordfish.

Just an alternative: Used casino playing cards can be had for dimes a deck. New decks can be had for about 50 cents a piece if you buy 100 and even Iraq's most wanted decks are pretty much a 99 cent item. You will find that holes in cards are crisp and easy to see.

Appreciate the advice, and have thought of that. Downsides for me are stapling that many targets up (so I'm lazy), and the idea of having more valuable cards more difficult to hit by reducing the size.

It hasn't been produced yet. We Curretly have a few command style targets, so other things took priority.

With our artists backed up we were focusing on getting the zombies out because there was bunch of people asking us for them. Then when we had them produced everyone backed out... And I mean everyone.

We are going to be working on getting the improved herman target(which will provide 4 different options) out and then if there is interest we will look at producing the Vegas target.
