That triple threat looks promising. Put a 9mm rifled insert in one barrel and maybe a .410 insert in one barrel. Leave the 3rd for 12 ga and its a party!

Where abouts would a fellow find a rifles 9mm insert?

So the badger has rails... so you can add a leupold scope on it?

Don't be silly, it's obviously for a vertical grip.

underbarrel 40mm GL? or maybe a M26 MASS...

The triple threat would be good for duck-hunting.

It fits nicely with the 3-shot capacity laws.

If the Badger was a combo .410/.22 or .22 Hornet I'd be much more interested...

Little badger's nice and minimalist. I like the stock's shell-holder on the website pic, but not sure why it needs a quad rail.
Too bad they couldn't put some extra thought into designing it to fold properly, like a sub2000, or else make it a simple takedown.
Still, it looks very light!

I got mine online. I basically spent about $200 and got inserts for 12ga that will do 20ga, 9mm, .357, .44mag, .410 and a .22lr. I can't think of the company name at the moment but a quick google search for shotgun sub caliber inserts should yield results. They run about $20 each plus shipping and duty from USA. This triple threat (or triple crown) looks like it could very well be a useful hunting gun. And it looks like its got chokes.

I think the Triple Threat would've looked better with two barrels on top and one on the bottom. I'd still love to have one though...

I think it would look even better it all three barrels where side-by-side-by-side, or even over-under-under.

I wonder how difficult it would be to manufacture a quick take-down hinge-pin (not sure of the correct name). Something that would be stong, tight, yet tool-less to remove. That would solve the crappy folding geometry.

Anyone notice how there is even a picitinny rail on the pistol grip?

What's up with that stock in the one pic? It looks like a two piece. I need to know how to do that on my ranch hand.

I like the 1887.

Not saying they're bad... But here goes; I saw my local gunsmith at the range yesterday with a big stack of guns to fire-test as customers had returned them for various malfunction claims. Among them were 2 chiappa 1887's. One wood and one was composite with a terminator 2 logo. Both were brand new. The T2 worked fine but the wood one fired once and then the action was stuck shut. Unable to open it so that was my first experience with these chiappa 1887's.

Everytime I think I want that 1887 I just watch this video and remind myself that it looks like a huge turd.

A lot of gimmick there for people with more money than common sense. Undeniably, the lever action shotty looks very cool. The fact is, though, that it is clearly awkward to cycle (compared to a pump) and would be a liability in a real threat situation. A pump is by far the better option and my little Maverick that cost $185 has served me very well over the years.

The tripple barrel also looks kinda kool, but I'm betting it's got some wight to it and a pump would be way lighter with more rounds available.

As for the Badger: I think they've missed the point. Looks like a half0assed copy of the old Springfield M6 survival rifle, but they forgot the .410 shotgun barrel. Now if Chiappa made an exact copy of that little gun, I'd be a happy man!!

I hear those things are junk, and dont cycle very well.

Triple threat suggested MSRP is over a thousand dollars according to an article I saw last week.

Expensive junk, from the reviews ive read. Better off getting a JIC mossy 500.

The Triple Crown looks fantastic. I wonder if it would point well? Triple barrels have been around for around 100 years but not as a production shotgun (not that I'm aware of anyways) so very few have them. $1800 is a good chunk to pay though.

Had the badger more barrel length, I could picture it at a trap shoot. Full, mid and open choke would be amazing at the range. weight would suck, but hey, you don't need to stand shouldered the whole time.

All 3 of these guns are awesome and i would like one of each. The only question is, Triple Crown with the 28 inch barrels or the Triple Threat with the 18 inch barrels?
