Thirty years ago, when I first began shooting pistols, the club where I was learning offered boxes of ammo to beginners to learn on. If memory serves, they had Remington, Aguila (cheap Mexican), and some no-name white box stuff made in Taiwan. The Remington behaved as it does now (the occasional dud), the Aguila was dreadful (usually 8 or 10 duds per box) and the super-cheap Taiwanese cartridges were flawless.
The Taiwanese people are still fighting Mao Tse Tung and take pride in making everything better than anything the mainland Chinese can do. If I had a .223, I would be all over this.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.
