Thank you for this info, it clears up so much of the general comments experienced hunters give to all the new comers to this sport about hunting on" crown land" but not the details on where and how!

They are never going to post Crown Land locations in Southern Ontario because there is too many damn people !!!!! Why would the gov't go " HEY GUNNUTZ, drive 10 mins out of the city and unload your firearms" Then everyone honkey tonk, weekend warrior, inexperienced knucklehead shooters would be lazy and stay close to the borders, cause problems, leave messes and ruin it further for all the good sportin folk. Yeah sure there is lots of forest near Milton or whatever close to. It is so far north so that it is a challenge and will weed out the serious responsible people from the lazy mess makers that can't be bothered to make the trek. That seems smart enough for me, that's what i would expect living the GTA. Hell if this Chow chik wins that sucks for Toronto Handgun owners.
