ccm
we are looking at a $20 to $30 price point.
As these are CNC machined out of 6061, and mil spec Hard anodized
they should last a lifetime.
we have done some stupid things to these to test then, inc dropping then off the fire tower the the local Fire dept use then as a hammer, even as a wedge under the trolly jack of my car when I got a flat tire..
This concept of a weighted mag base has been used for many years in IPSC
To get an idea take a look at this other Canadian mag base, ours is 4-5times more work to make

Interesting... Planning on a version for the angled bottom black LAR mags?
Awesome!!!
CQB, 3 Gun, ISSAC and Service Rifle Shooter.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ - 1* - SI VIS PACEM, PARA BELLUM - HAN SHOT FIRST - YOUR FREEDOM IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Not only does it give good weight to your firearm so you get the feel of the real deal, but in the event of the zombie apocalypse (which is going to happen), when you run out of ammo you can beat them to death with the magazine. Reference the test where they were used as a hammer.
Hi S&J
bit of topic, but im waiting for a S&J fore end(12.6") for 3 months now.
like your products much, any news on when these are back in stock?
cheers
see I know it was good for something else
The main reason for this item of course is to make it the same size shape and length as a standard 30rd mag, for those of us that run tac vests of even just Kydex ar15 mag holders on our belts, its a must have, you just cant get those little mags out of a mag holder or tac vest.
As we get more into more Competition type products, a lot of items we are making have duel use.
I.E. the Ambi safety/slector, Ambi mag catch, and of course the ar15 mag mag body.
All of these work well for Competition in things like 3 gun and ipsc as well as more tactical shooting matches like IDPA, ODPL and in house tac matches.
