    5.45x39 XCR-L Conversion Kits

Ladies, Gentlemen and others, we are happy to announce that the 5.45x39 caliber is now going to be an available conversion kit for the XCR-L. These conversion kits will work on all of the XCR-L family out there and will give you a chance to shoot the round made famous the AK-74.

These kits will be retailing for the same price as the other kits. We are taking preorders on these right now with a $200.00 deposit for a spring 2014 delivery.

Hornady makes ammo for this little round as well and we also have some of that in stock.

Any questions or to place an order just give us a phone call or drop us an email at sales@wolverinesupplies.com

If you were going from 7.62x39 to 5.45x39, do you still need the whole conversion kit? I'd think the bolt would be the same?

"Some oppose registration of guns or licensing of gun owners because if captured, the associated records would provide military invaders with the locations and identities of gun owners, simplifying elimination of law-abiding (i.e. patriotic) resistance fighters. Location and capture of such records is a standard doctrine taught to military intelligence officers; and was widely practiced by German and Soviet troops during World War II."

I also thought the same but Rob Arms have advised us that a different bolt is required.

5.45 rim is about 10 mm, 7.62 is slightly over 11 mm and 5.56 is 9.6 mm

Would the 5.45x39 cartridge use the 223/5.56 AR mags?

Awesome! Now I really need an XCR-L. So many round options!

YOu need the 7.62x39 AR mags. Apparantly some 5.56 mags will work with a reduced capacity but they can have feeding issues. The Armalite 5/30 and the XCR 10 round pistol mags hold a full capacity load of the 5.56x45, AR 5.56 mags do not and the rounds feel sticky when trying to remove them (I have been experimenting here).
