Definitely looks like it was made by a Tool and Die Maker.

EDIT - Guess I should have read the first post more closely ;-( $650 ballpark isn't bad at all!!!
WE are hoping to stay in the projected cost area, but were advised that materials will increase in price in the New Year, but not by how much.
I would estimate at worst under $100.00. Still we feel compared to anything else on the market that even comes close to what these can do they are a steal.

The problems we see with turret and even worse with progressive is tolerances, or lack there of. Anytime you have a bunch of moving parts there are more areas where tolerance is required. On a turret press, the head rotates which then allows it to tilt a small amount so as to allow for the rotation and indexing. Progressives just take these built in variables to a much higher level.
What we were trying to address was a void in the precision reloading press world, specifically for the 50 cal reloader who also loads for smaller calibers and does not really want 2 or more presses on the bench, nor the investment in several presses.

The progressives have their place, my Dillon 650 will be kept for handgun and spray and pray ammo, but the current Ultra Mag and Ammo Master presses on my bench, will be replaced shortly with just 1 of our presses.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the ability to ACT properly in the face of fear.

You do not need to be over 50 to shoot the .50BMG. Try it

For 50 cal we have ordered the CH4D match dies, for any smaller caliber either Redding Type S match or Forster match dies would be my choice for rifle dies. For handgun dies, pretty much whose ever you wish.
For 50 cal any 1.5" 12 TPI dies will work and for all other calibers 7/8x14 TPI, both of which are standard in the industry.

The press can be ordered with an optional adapter bushing to allow the use of small caliber dies. An optional shell holder adapter to allow for use of RCBS/Redding/Hornady shell holders will be available.
We will also be making 50 cal shell holders that screw directly into the ram in 7/8 14 TPI.

This press IS compatible with the 50 cal RCBS ram priming system, which we have ordered and hope to soon have in stock.
