    I have one, no issues. Stiff action at first but is remedied with oil and plenty of cycling when sitting around at home.

    Own marlins, winchesters etc, and loved my 464 Marinecote.
    When you've owned a dozen or so of each, and come across a 464 they are way better than a few naysayers claim.

    I would take it over ANY marlin 336 or winchester 94 made in the last 35 years in North America.
    They lock up tight and are smoother than any post 64 I have ever handled.
    Sold mine on the EE a few months ago and kind of regret it. The figure in the stock was beautiful for a 400 dollar rifle
