BBQ paint. Ok, that explains why mine smells like burnt hamburger when I shoot it. Thanks for clearing that up. LOL.
But seriously, your guy did a great job with my sights, and it's right on. Got several bullseye's the first time out. I love my SAM. Can't wait to get a Thunderbolt.

Grumpy if / when a SAM pistol needs warrenty work where would it be done.. does it ever get sent back to Armscore ?
We are the importers for these pistols and do all warranty in house. That being said, I person would certainly never perfect there 1911 smithing skills waiting for the warranty work on a SAM, it isn't needed very often.
Armscore is USA and our pistols don't come from the good old United States, ours come directly from SAM in the Philippines. This is why you will see models that we have that the US doesn't and vice versa. Some of these pistols have been made to Wolverine requirements. I hope that helps a little bit.

Grumpy, is Shooters Arms an independent company, or connected to Armscor or Metro Arms or other Philippine firearms manufactures. Just curious.
