I filled and fired once. 110 rds and I had three stovepipe. Not bad, considering it's brand new. A few more loads and it should run smooth.

While in the states I looked at both. Bx25 is labeled to fit all 1022 including the charger pistol. Bx25X2 is listed to fit 1022 carbine and sr22, doesn't mention charger. I've played worth one of these at a range and they are way nicer in function and appearance to anything else available. Maybe someday ruger will make a drum.

Are the bx25X2 legal here? Has anyone imported any?

My understanding is that Hical has imported them in the past, but no longer have them available. And as of right now, because Ruger does not advertise that the BX25-2 fits in the Charger pistol, and until the CFO/RCMP decides to pull same cockamamie bull####, they are still legal. If I were an owner of the BX25-2, I would keep the packaging inside the rifle case, or range bag, etc, just in case you ran into LEO that is aware of the BX25 issue, since it is posted on the RCMP website. The extra -2 in the model number, and the materials that came with the mags stating that it is for the 10/22 and SR22, without mention of the Charger pistol would probably be enough to pacify the LEO.
