Interesting question as I have wondered about it as well , but it would be interesting to hear from a dealer who has sold both....

Here are some pics of my grade 2. ymmv....Not too shabby if you ask me...

Comes in a nice factory Sig case, and an owners manual is included as well..

This pic shows the most wear, at least on mine.

This pic shows the wear spot on the front tip of the slide. Aside from whats shown here, just the odd faint scratch here and there.

    Crazy......but that's how it goes.

Very nice! At almost half the cost of new, and being German produced, these are a decent deal. The 10% off and free shipping did it for me!

I bought a Grade 2 as well. Those pictures are really encouraging. I figured for how much I ever get to shoot pistols at the range, it should last a lifetime......and for the price it was a great excuse to finally get to try a German made Sig.

Right on sight says refurb with slight muzzle wear near slide. I'm sure they look at em too, to make sure you won't be disappointed. That would be bad talk all over online sites. Which most will try and avoid. After seeing the pics of the one delivered in this thread, I'm very interested in one. Hope they have some in a month as I'm at tech training this month

I notice that my Sig has no screws on the grips, and some do.....Why is this, some German and some American?

You probably have an E2 grip which doesn't use screws.
