    I'm only interested in their modern RPD carbine but with a fluted non restricted barrel.

    How does it work since its beltfed? Can you have as many rounds as you want on the belt or is it still limited to 5?

    Pre 1946 belts are unlimited. 1946 and later are limited to 5. The RPD was designed in 1945.

    I have 1943. Agreed though, RPD = Pre '45 non disintegrating link.
