Lets say the worst happens and they don't allow the full belts, how will they cap the belt at 5? Will it only be a small 5 link belt? or is there some sort of pin they can put in the belt to limit it to 5 rounds?

Submit the order. You get an order number. Would assume orders are filled earliest to latest. No payment until close to shipping after Arms East confirms you still want to complete the purchase.

Pre order. No money out of hand. And you have to confirm with them before payment taken. Pretty easy.
