I just pulled a Austrian and a USA marked and I can't see the difference in anything else. I can see what people mean by the grey slide but both are like that.

I'll get a shot, just did the one side as the other is identical. i honestly can't tell them apart, both with the charcoal slide, onlt difference is the one marking.

My understanding is that Glock dictates the same Nitration treatment to harden the slide to specific hardness (c64?). The colouring is a dye that can vary minutely from batch to batch. I'm trying to find my the source, but my Google-Fu is currently failing me.
