Yup, and one of my buddies used a really old 6.5 swedish mauser, over 100 years old, and still did quite well.
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

He's the one, a bunch of close friends of mine were at the shoot, and I made more friends while there too, it was a great group of guys.

    3) What level of experience is appropriate? I wouldn't say I'm a complete noob, but I've only been shooting (pretty much exclusively for precision with bolt action rifles) for about 5 months now.[/QUOTE]
Your good to go, that about what I had last year before the clinic.

I'm surprised as heck how fast this baby is filling up with the incoming EMT payments.

Sorry dudes, I got the same jokes from last fall of 2013 Petawawa PR clinic! :D

Are you kidding me, this was a lot of fun last year and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised that 75% of the guys from last year return. You've got 7 months to come up with some new material to keep us laughing.

I am definitely coming back again!! What a fun way to learn.
I installed an Atlas bottom metal and AI 10rd mag, so that should help letting me concentrate on my shot rather than my reload this time.

Maybe I'll stay the night in a hotel, it will be cheaper than the gas I spent last time driving back and forth from south of Ottawa.
