I'm in the process of installing a better muzzle brake, so that I can better throw dust and rocks in my competitors eyes.

Got a spare 5 round mag so reloads will be much less frantic now lol. They don't make 10 rounders in .338lm.

I also built in an adjustable cheekpiece, so my cheek weld is now perfect.

    Learned loads of info.
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

WWJMBD? What Would John Moses Browning Do?

Just watch your own eyes. One of our guys was digging gopher holes last summer.

All jokes aside, shooters beside it may feel more blast, but it will throw way less debris than the 360 degree ported brake that came with the rifle.

Not to worry, just bustin balls. I remember last year you were talking about the dirt flyin around, and mentioned a brake from APA ( fat bastard) didn't know if you picked it up. I have the little bastard brake and had blown dudes hats off ( literally ) when I pull that trigger.

    Haha!

Can't wait to see how it works with 90 grains of powder, pushing a 300 grain pill.

I'm getting giddy just thinking about it... :D

My best guess would be like a half second hurricane, minus the water part and crack of thunder from the fist of god. You thought your 338 was loud before. Your shoulder will thank you.

So here we are still 7 months away and on 24 Feb 2014, we have 16 people registered, with another 13 spots left over!

Most of you may recall last fall's clinic in 07-08 Sep 2013, we had a whale of a lot of laughs! All great fun!

Cheers and keep helping the noobs out there.
