This issue affects people who do not own guns as well. The only way to enforce this prohibition is with old and outdated LGR data. How would someone feel if the police show up at their door with a piece of paper dated 2010 demanding to be let in to search for the firearms? How could you prove no firearms are present? Will you let them rip out the floorboard? Tear out the drywall? Dig up the lawn?
This is a fundamental rights issue, and it affects all current and future Canadians.
Death comes by subtle means; the satisfaction of routine.
