A long awaited retirement at ATRS

After over 20 years of faithful service at ATRS 1 of our cherished friends retired last weekend.
He put in years of tireless service and lent support when ever the need arised.
It is with deep sadness that I see him go, I doubt that his replacement will stand the test of time as well.
Many of you will not understand, especially those who have been on the forum for less that the last 5 years, but for some of the oldies on CGN, like Big Ugly Man, Long Range Canuck, Black Cloud and Glockamaniac as well as many I have missed.
The "Infamous Freezer" has been retired. B.U.M. the bodies were relocated FYI
A blast from the past of photos of the humble beginnings of ATRS so many years ago.

Congratulations! Was he replaced with a new "efficient" model, or just extra space?

Geez, this reminds me of growing up and all the projects my dad and I did on our big freezer.

They made the perfect worktops, despite what my mother claimed. I don't even know why she cared. SHE never spent anytime down there in the first place.

Besides, when the actual workbench is a disaster with tools and stuff, where else are you going to actually do your work?

Couldn't move it to a corner and keep it around for sentimental sake?

Remember this day for it your (our) wives decide that they want something more efficient................

You should stand it on end and use it as a shelving unit in the current showroom.
