i'd just like if i could get some replacement barrels, but possibly also some "dmr" length barrels, like 20 inches or longer to maximize velocity from the .223. The tavor is so compact i wouldn't even mind getting some varmint length barrels.

You should use your head, there is nothing wrong with buying or owning a short barrel!

Sorry as to coming off as I bit of a jerk, I sometimes shorten my replies for the internet, to save time and sometimes miss seeing how it can be taken!

Now for the long answer! Yes, I love the idea of the CTAR barrels! But I am just relaying the message and obviously we dont want to draw any more attention to modern sporting rifles at this time, or any time...

    I would take a 18.5 heavy barrel in 300BLK, 7.62x39, a 204 ruger would be Nice to

I'd be in for a spare nr barrel. But not if i have to pre-order. I can understand if Jon doesn't want his money tied up in inventory and just the same, i don't want my money tied up in pre-ordering something that i'll have to wait a year on.

Also, (shady speech alert) say you wanted to buy the ctar barrel but do not know if you ever want to install it. You just want to have it. If you ever wanted it installed you could then send it and the Tavor to NS for proper barrel installation and registration. Is it possible to buy a short barrel and not have it installed at NS right away but just shipped to you? Is it legal to do? Seems legal as far as i know but shady as #### and likelly not something NS would want to do. Just curious.
