They were selling pretty fast when I ordered mine from them a few weeks ago. The Russian made SKS's are suddenly popular thanks to the RCMP gun grab and the turmoil in Ukraine threatening supply.

Why ? - These won't be put into service, and if war does commence, then I would assume any foreign economic income would be welcomed.

I may be missing the elephant in the room though…

General SKS Discussion / SKS Supply in Western Canada drying up ?
    « on: March 08, 2014, 04:29:28 PM »

I have been watching the Westrifle website for the last 3 weeks. They are strictly website based, and seem to have good customer satisfaction. I have talked with some of their customers in person to confirm that. They were showing about 20-25 rifles each week, but a few days ago the listings of the low value rifles ($240) CDN were all removed, and now only 3 , 1949 models at ($450) CDN remain. I can speculate that he may have sold all those rifles in a few days, maybe to other dealers, or he may be just re-doing his listings. The trouble in the Crimea may be affecting the supply ! What do you fellows think?
