Maybe some here can confirm... does the design of the gun have to be pre-1946*, or does the gun itself have to be, to be exempt from the 5-round limit on the belt?
(*please tell me if I have the year wrong as well.)
Anyway, I would definitely take an M-2 for $4500 - $5000.
"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri
"This whole war could have been avoided. Cunnilingus and psychiatry brought us to this." - Tony Soprano
The belt goes with the gun generally, so the two are introduced together.
If you then use a pre-1946 (1945 or older) belt in a modern design, that is fine.
AS I UNDERSTAND IT!!! (Not a sweet-talking lawyer)
And an all-new made in China M2 for $5000 aint gonna happen...

Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.
