I think HK is late in the game. I just don't see them taking back the small niche black rifle market share from the Tavor (others?).

The Tavor might reach 100,000 sales by the time the hk293 arrives in the USA.

The G36 is not here and it will be a long time before it is, unfortunately..

Close to useless sadly as it will be restricted on barrel length unless I'm missing something, HK doesn't accommodate custom requests very well.

HK made P2000's and P30's with extended barrels specifically for the Canadian market. Don't see why they couldn't do the same with the 243.

What's the story on these? When are they coming in? Any word on a 18.6in barrel?

These are not yet available through a distributor and no FRT exists yet for these new firearms. It will be some time before they are classified and made available to the HK distributor here in Canada. Unfortunately patience is the name of the game! We'll definitely keep our ears to the ground on it and post any time we know new information.
