This is so misleading.
I just dropped way too much money on a converted SL8/G36 that arrived damaged and missing components so I wasn't too happy to read two days later that HK was finally going to release a version of the rifle available to us mere citizen scum.
This is amazing news. Will buy for sure. Doubt it will cost much more than sl8!

Unless things have changed G36's were always legal here, You just couldn't get them out of the states.
At least there is a basic version that looks like a G36. The stock on the "professional" model is fugly.
