Yup.. I think the manufactures are running at max they don't want to invest in new production facilities that will go idle in a year so they just keep the status quo. and inflate the pricing. Bet their stock values are doing well thou..

Didn't know you spoke for every single range in Canada!

You might want to do some more research though, some range backstops aren't just about steel projectiles. FYI, at our club, someone caught firing 7.62x39 on our indoor range would be subject to disciplinary actions

Sounds good to me!, The more the better

....just trying to make sure people don't go showing up on an indoor range with a standard rifle caliber thinking its okay cause someone on the internet said so. Some indoor ranges are rated for rifle calibers, many are not.

I don't speak for your range. I'm sure whoever shoots there is well aware of whatever caliber restrictions you have.

Many indoor ranges (like mine) don't have any such caliber restrictions.
They simply do not allow the use of any projectiles that contain steel in them.

The vast majority of 7.62x39 ammo contains steel. Either steel core, or steel jacketed.

The PRVI ammo is copper jacketed lead. No steel whatsoever.
