    Tom,

April fools was 9 days ago, get with it.

But seriously, why? I just ordered 4 more, because we all know they'll double in price off the EE. Get em while they're affordable.

my understanding is it will be black only production for awhile so they can pump out as many as possible, but eventually coloured production will resume?

    no?

not like they will never manufacture another coloured pmag ever again

I imagine that being they are so far behind in production that it won't be a permanent thing. If it is ... Good thing my tan at-15 looks good with black mags .

They're injection molded, I guess black is the cheapest tint they can use.

I don't know if it's a cost thing, seeing as all the mags cost the same. But if they are trying to catch up to orders it makes the most sense to start pumping out black. Black goes with every build

Black polymer is actually stronger than any of the color ones.
I don't know if this is somehow connected or not (probably not), but that's the way it is.

Black is a pigment colour just so you know! Carbon black is likely less reactive to some agents or UV light but not necessarily stronger.

Yes, of course I agree with you, but there is something about the carbon contest in the plastic that suppose to make the black ones more durable.
If I can remember correctly natural polymer has a grayish color. What You said makes sense - maybe it's all about exposure to UV?
    I'm sorry - it's been a while since I read that somewhere.
