I have the XR9L and the 9s with the barrel sticking out ( looks silly ) but both are great little guns. Would most definitely buy the .45

Have several prohib guns which are physically larger,,,, C17 is just a dumb law.

I think the two-tone model has a polymer lower.

    Could be wrong though.

No its Aluminum. I have the two tone one. The handguards are plastic and wrap around and give the false appearance of polymer frame.

The trigger is easily the nicest DAO trigger on the market today for a semi-auto pistol. It is exceptionally smooth. Accuracy-wise, the pistol is better than I am...

The recoil is negligible. I was a skeptic of that until I shot one for myself. There is no compact pistol that does better on recoil management. I do not think you are recoil-sensitive though, you shoot a lot of .45ACP and .44MAG

    Cheers,
    Daniel

agreed, this pistol is on my wish list. another member at my club had 1 there a few months back and ive wanted 1 ever since.

i thought one of the 2 tones (cheaper version) was a polymer frame and 1 was aluminum?

Is there any talk of them coming out with a 10mm version?

    Not at the moment, nope!

Right then, I'll have one in 10mm.

I use mine to concealed carry in Alaska..it is a great little gun and runs great in 9mm. Two tone appears polymer but is definitely aluminum framed
