    Yes, i guess so, because, i only used it 2 times and did change the battey 2 times... JP.

    Dang. Mine too guess the solution is to leave the batteries out. Sucks cause I love love love this red dot.

    Does the solar power work? As i understand it the battery is for low light and backup? How many do you have?
