    I have 2 as well and can confirm that one of them drains batteries. It worked when I tested it for about a month. Today the battery is dead. The other one I suspect will be the same. Both were bought on the EE.

    That being said.. I bought two more of these confirmed defects. I really liked them when out on the range. Especially for some of the harder to fit firearms. CX4 storm, PS90 , some shotguns, Swiss arms, Famae firearms etc. Batteries are easy to replace or take out. My illuminated scopes use the same batteries and except for the NF ones it's good idea to remove them.

    The price more than reflects the defect and it's something I can live with on a fun gun. Plus they are very nice when in use.
    Yes you can very easily see the dot in full sunlight. You can also change brightness plus the optic will auto adjust for you if going from interior to outside. It works well.

    Do the defect ones come with a riser?
