I bet 3D printing could make rock solid single stack mags.
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.

How can TI help if there are no more mags left? Do they have a stash of mags held for warranty concerns? If so, what happens when those run out? Like others here, the only thing that prevented me from buying a mini saf was mag availability and support in the future.

Ok, emailing, thanks. I hadn't actually thought you would provide warranty on these, I was just hoping you'd get in some reasonably-priced metal mags for those of us who need them. If you're willing to replace them, though, I'm in

Well, from my messages back and forth, it appears that Tactical Imports is willing to stand behind their product, and provide metal mags when they arrive. Great customer service - thanks, TI

My mags have never been dropped or abused in any way, but they have started to flake off little bits of plastic. I've never used them outside in sub-zero temperature, never left them out in the sun, or any other negligent things that are hard on plastic. The plastic breaks down naturally and becomes really brittle.

For me it is the base plates that got it the worst. The bits that flake off are at the little "lip" that slides over the little rail that keeps the base plate in place. This piece is slightly under spring tension and that is the only reason I can think of for it to cause the base to crack at that location and flake off while it just sits there. The mags sat untouched on a shelf in a closet since October of last year and flaked off several more little plastic bits.

I don't use one of the two mags anymore because so much plastic has flaked off that the base is no longer securely held in place anymore. At first it was just cosmetic but now one of the mags is inoperable because of this. The other mag is flaking a bit on the base but it isn't nearly as bad (yet).

Long story short, metal mags sound like a fantastic idea.

Good news. Was advised via email that mags will be available for retail purchase later this year.
