    I love the CZ Shadow. Really like tHis silver version. Like gdawg said, get your hands on one first then see how you feel. Very accurate and nice heavy steel frame. Great looKing pistol OP!

    it's very similar to my Beretta 92FS.
    I tried the CZ, but I've gone back to the Beretta.

    Without diss'ing the op's pistol (nice looking gun dude) -

    I much prefer the standard Shadow - with the black finish and the soft-ish rubber grips.

    I gotta admit those grips are the most comfortable I have ever felt - bar none.

    Oh - and the pistol is a tack-driver (that'd kinda a given ....)

    I never liked the CZ pistols either but after handling and dry-firing one at LGS, I changed my mind. And now I really like how they look, especially the one I just bought:

    I heard that about the rubber as well. I believe the Canadians come with the rubber grip as well. I just bought a used one (the waiting is killing me) and was told it comes standard with both grips.
