Question new XRC-L magazines don't remain in magwell

    Hello Wolverines,

two months ago I purchased XCRL-L 6 7.62x39 magazines from you. I had not had a chance to try it until yesterday when I had a bad surprise: none of them remain in the magwell.
The mag release seems unable to block them properly.
I have other magazines of the exact same type and never had this issue before: those worked immediately and they still do today. To a first inspection they look absolutely identical to the others in my possession, so I do not understand what's wrong.
    Please advice.
    Thanks

Check your mag release , the edge can wear down . I had a similar problem with my xcr-m . Sent it in to wolverine & they sent me a new one free of charge . Now I only use polymer pmags & have had no issues since .

    thanks for the reply Anthony.
Mag release is fine: how I said all the rest of my magazines work.
Unfortunately no PMAG for 7.62x39 in AR-15, so that is also not a solution.

Are the magazines empty or loaded? Is the bolt open of closed when you are putting them in?

The magazine is loaded and the bolt is closed.
Now I tried with the bolt open and the mag fits.
Seems that with closed bolt mag hits it...
Is this a new feature or a bug?

All you need to do is to file a little off the legs of your follower so you mag fits 10.5 rounds instead of a straight 10. This isn't something new, as some batches have had this in the past.

I had a similar problem with my 6.8 SPC - pushed in a mag and it would drop out before I could close the bolt. Also, the bolt would not stay open on the last round.

I simply lubricated the the mag release and bolt hold-open and have not had any problems since.

I would try this before stripping and filing your mag followers as it is a very quick fix...
