Just grabbed my copy of G&A handguns from the mailbox with said vp9 on the cover. I was just showing my wife the article and how good this gun looked!...then she told me to put down the magazine and cut the grass.

Go read that shlock to a soldier or a fireman or a football player or a bloody barber Theyll all knock your "this" right down your throat while sippin a beer and eating chicken wings. Then wipe their wee fingers on your pretty little pouch"
It wasn't quite a p30
Or a p99
I was disappointed the mag releases where short
Unlike a gen three p99
There was take up in the trigger but didn't stack
It broke nice, reset was short.
Imagine a p99 upper, but in a glock shape
With a p30 grip.
At 600 bones she's a prohibited here.
I would buy one at 700 but more then that I would pass on them.
Saying that out loud made me cringe but true.
I asked the guy for a un sharpened pencil and a ruler to half arse measure the barrel.
Seems people don't have rulers anymore.
Specs say 4.09 but measured how, still don't know.

Maybe none of you have read the thread I stated over in the pistol form.
No-one here is getting a VP9. That gun is only for the US Market.
The rest of the world is getting the SFP9, which will come in 2 different trigger configurations:
one for compliance with German Police trigger requirements, one with the same trigger as the US's VP9
Yes HK Germany and FN Sport are clearly knowledgable with regards to Canadian Barrel length requirements.
Yes HK Germany intends to sell the SFP9 in Canada.

hotdog,
Not sure on technical specifics, but usually means heavier than standard. Like the New York Trigger in the Glock.
SFP-9 should be nearly identical to the VP9. And I'm told will have the same trigger as the American Gun.
