Yes, I've had it happen too. I'm a shooter and collector, and particularly with factory items I value the entire factory package as much as the gun itself. I know it may sound strange to some, but when you put the firearm up for resale, along with the original 'kit,' it does increase the value.
way to high a price for a bone stock ar. a daniel or bcm is just as good of quality and for much cheaper especially if you order through irg.
its great that colt canada ARs are now available but the price will have to come way down before it is worth it although im sure some will still fork over the cash for a canadian made (woop-dee-doo) AR with some canadian military background.
“... and they who cried: “Appease, Appease!” are hanged by men they tried to please.”
Different strokes for different folks
Guess some people like the more classic look, without all the modern rails and fancy stocks. a fix stock on that SA20 would look cool
Agreed go for the Old A-team look, bare ass nekid.
Considering how much attention these rifles are getting, I highly doubt there will be any retailer who would chance swapping/removing accessories from the packages. It says (and illustrates) clearly on Colt Canada's product page what is included accessory wise, so it would be pretty obvious if the seller were to do anything dubious...
hsld.
Not trying to suggest Wanstalls or any retailer would be dubious, but no one's really confirmed if the entire kit shown at Diemaco is included. Colt magazines haven't been available in Canada for a VERY long time.
