Got to be honest, I've seen a buddy's Grizzly with wood furniture, and I wasn't that impressed. I'm aiming to buy a 12.5" or maybe a 14" grizzly (tube, not mag fed) when CanAm brings them back. If the wood stock price is the same as the synthetic then it would be fine, but I wouldn't pay extra for the wood since I'll be replacing it with a laminated set I got from Boyd's.

That's a thought - what about selling the shotguns without the stock and forend? Could we save a few bucks that way? I'd definitely buy a shotgun with no stock and forend in that case.

Have one of the 12.5" tube magazine fed versions with the synthetic stock and ghost ring sights.
A ton of partridge (ruffed grouse) and 2 whitetail deer have fallen to it.
Best brush gun I ever owned and accurate with slugs for "shotgun only" deer hunting zones near the GTA.
Not a single jam or misfire in several years of ownership.
These things were never meant to be pretty.
I prefer the more durable black synthetic stock the gun came with to wood that swells, cracks and splits over the years.

any 12.5" available or will be available soon? 8.5" is a little too short for me
