.45 round problem - damaged bullet.

So I've recently purchased a box of .45 acp and upon examination noticed one of them was recessed more deeply into the cartridge than the others. Thus, it is shorter than the rest of them.

Pretty sure I shouldn't chance using it at the range, but wanted to get opinions from others more knowledgeable than myself.

Is it unsafe to use? And how would I go about disposing of it if that is the case?

I can post pics later tonight if needed.

I would just return them where i got them. I know i did with a box of cheap 9mm and the salesman i got it from remembered me. He opened the box, raised an eyebrow and told the cashier to give me another box.
