Wow so much hesitation for such cost effective ammo from a great site sponsor.
I should have added a case of buckshot to my order! Doh! (Is that still possible?)

A round ball actually would have better sectional density than a typical Foster slug. Assuming pure lead:
A 12 gauge sphere weighs 7,000/12 = 583 grains, for a sectional density of 583/(7,000*0.729^2) = 0.157
A typical Foster slug weighs 1oz, or 438 grains, for a sectional density of 438/(7,000*.729^2) = 0.118
how much is shipping on these cases?
shipping is a flat $15, orders over $200 get free shipping
Looks like an awesome price for slugs and buck.
Has anyone fired any of these enough to make a comparison to the average Federal or Rem 1oz slug? I'm thinking 50 yard accuracy for bear protection. Reduced recoil? Speed? Anyone?
When all else fails, Bark like a dog !
How soon will the prices go up?
