I have used both in my Versamax Tacticals and never skipped a beat, and that goes without saying in my KSG's they are perfect as well. I can see that these rounds are not for all makes and models but I am fortunate to not have the same bad luck. I wonder if possibly its a batching issue seeing's that there made in a country that's not well known for their quality control.

unsure. The slugs are shorter, so its not an issue of gas not getting to the ports on the m4. I was under the impression the M4 was a top pick for reliability?

My apologies if you thought I was implying to the quality of your M4 as I was directing towards the Dominion shells, I personally think the M4 is one hell of a fine semi. Its the old story of some products work for some people and not for others (shotgun shells that is) :-)

Agree- It's not uncommon for a Benelli M4 to need some breaking in. The fact it didn't fully cycle 'low recoil' slugs out of the box is not something I'd worry about. MarshallLaw I'd put another couple hundred rounds through the M4, and then bet it would work flawlessly with the slugs.

Im buying some slugs to test in my M4 now.

a NEW Benelli needs a break in of a few 100 rounds of "high brass" loads.

very strange. I'll try again once broken in. I do love my 870 pump, so I'll be getting more for sure.

Maybe 15 target loads through before camping dog ran off last weekend.. shooting cut short, and had some hiccups cycling. Might need a break in i thought?

Canpar brings me these dominion buck and slugs. look cool. like that they are clear.

Slugs first. Modified choke. 20Yard 5 shot group the size of a basketball.
out of a box of 25 only ONE time did it cycle. rest were FTE and stovepipes.

Buckshot next. Long rounds. can only get FOUR in the tube...
Cycled flawlessly. EVERY TIME!!!! super rapid firing. love it.

    That's my story.
Thank you! This is good to know!!
