Grabbed a case of slugs for the ksg. Absolutely amazing. Accuracy was surprising for a round ball and as stated the recoil was nil. In fact it was about 1/2 of what it was with federal 00 buckshot (which I had in the second tube).
I would say they -could- make the rounds a bit hotter without bothering anyone, but price was great. Thanks again CanAm

I think your gun is pretty safe, a lead ball won't hurt anything inside your barrel. More likely the problem would be that when the shot cup deforms or comes apart, the ball will loosely travel and spin through the barrel and give you a curve ball, or slice as in golfing.

unfortunately my benelli M4 won't cycle the slug shell, none of shell can cycle, every shot i have pull the bolt to open the chamber to eject the case.
i bought about 30 boxes of 25.
just worried about how i can shoot them all by pulling the bolt each shot.
does anyone has the same situation with semi auto shotgun?
Benelli m4 here. All failed for me too. Run great in a pump action... lol

yup. Ive put a bunch of federal (1 1/8)oz (7 1/2)shot through it now.
sorry if its been stated, I didn't read the whole 12 pages. Is there specs on the 00buck anywhere? I hear its light, in fact so light it won't cycle some semis, so I want to know what fps it has, and if its actually good for hunting in place of other brands of 00buck. Price is great, and for blasting away at targets at the range, sure its great, but is it actual hunting ammo?
