    Paddling demo day

    Just a note that the store will be closed during this event.

    Come try out some gear for free!!

    Aug 23 in Trenton Ontario at the Trenton Rowing Paddling Club.

    Come and join the paddling fun at this FREE Try-it Day and TRPC fundraiser BBQ!
    Try the newest, hottest trend in paddling: Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) with instruction provided by Go Active. Fifteen minute on-water try-it sessions. Paddle a kayak or canoe or even try a racing canoe under the supervision of our instructors and coaches. All for FREE!
    Join us for lunch at the TRPC fundraiser BBQ provided by Smylie's Your Independent Grocer!
    Talk to reps from OSTS Outdoors, your local supplier of paddling equipment, merchandise, clothing, kayak/SUP rentals and paddling expeditions.
    Take a tour of the Trenton Rowing and Paddling Club boathouse and learn more about the club! Memberships available.
    *All ages welcome! (waiver must be signed by adults for youth under age 18)
    *SUP/Kayak: ages 10+
    All participants should be comfortable on and in the water. Life jackets will be provided and must be worn. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and footwear. For SUP'ers, come prepared to get wet...you might like to wear bathing suits and board shorts and bring a change of clothes. Washroom and changing facilities provided. Sunscreen, hats and sunglasses are recommended.
    Pre-registration not required but strongly recommended.
    Drop-ins welcome!


    FAQs

    Is there an age limit to enter the event?
    Must be 10 years of age or older to try Stand Up Paddleboarding and kayaking.

    What are my parking options at the event?
    Free parking in adjacent parking lots to the south and north.

    Both actually. I have injuries, so being able to just carry it with one arm or slung over my shoulder is crucial.
