    Ar500 hard armour 10x12 plates UPDATE POST 158

    Thinking of having some made, but after doing some home work, and working out transportation cost, its not as cheap as we would have hoped.
    Looking at NATO standard ,10” x 12” Rectangle Plate Level III Body Armor single curve
    meets NIJ LIII will stop 556 ,762x51 ball 762x39 muti hit

    weight would be about 3.5kg per plate. but they would be nice and thin

    What would you be happy paying for a set of these.

    Hard Armour 10x12 steel L3+ 556 pre order

    10” x 12” Rectangle plate body armor will fit in Plate Carriers capable of accepting up to Medium and Large SAPI plates

    Level 3+ stand alone plate.
    L3+ will protect against all handguns, 223, 556 ss109, 762 NATO 147gr FMJ 762x39

    Dimension (10x12'')
    Weight: 3.4kgs ea aprox
    Single curve plate to fit closer to the body
    Treated AR500 steel plate
    Anti spall treatment to front face.
    Nylon wraped to reduce wear and friction on plate carrier.
    10 year Canadian warranty.
    This is for a set of 2 plates.

    This is a pre order, payment in full needs to be made to get the discounted price.
    For the pre order you get the lower price for $279.99 and just charged the basic shipping of $13.
    Standard shipping on something like this would be anywhere from $25 to $45
    For most people this is a $70 savings on what is already a very fair price.

    should'nt go above 599$, not including shipping.
    i think yhat would be reasonnable.....but you would'nt be making much on those.

    wont be even close to that, but sure will not be $500 set

    A LVL 4 piece is $285 - not steel

    I would keep it about $200 - $225 a plate, maybe $375 a set.

    That's not going to happen the steel alone cost that much before any work has been done to the plate
    But we are getting closer to that price range
