MossBerg 500 HS Barrel (18.5")

Hey.

I recently purchase a Maverick 88(field), and i was looking to switch out the barrel for a Home Security 18.5' barrel. Its been hard locating these, and i was wondering if anyone had any info on where i can purhcase one.

I may suggest 'applying' for the equipment exchange forum here. You have to apply and wait a few days (and hopefully approved) but it has lots of great stuff. When you read the rules, you can see how to post for a WANTED item.

BTW, if you read the rules, you should have had your post #1 in the introductions. No biggie, just go a get 'er done now. I think you have to in order to apply for the equipment exchange.

Hi. Best to ask on the shotgun forum. Where you are matters somewhat.
A Maverick takes the same barrels as a Mossberg Model 500. Your local gun shop casn order anything you want. Be prepared to pay up front. A 24" rifled barrel runs around $200. Barrels don't always get put on web sites, but rummage around the sponsor sites.
