    Allowed to shoot on private/crown

Where does one go to find out where one can discharge non-restricted firearms on private land/crown land? Who do I call?

I have access to a cabin on a lake that has a nice 300 foot backyard with a hilly backdrop into which I would like to put bullets. There is also crown land not too far off of that property line that would be nice to shoot on as well.

BC Wildlife does not show the area in which I want to shoot. I want to make sure I am 100% compliant with the law in that area.

    Thanks for your responses!

There is no such list. Laws only tell you what you cannot do. However, look on the web site for the municipality the lsand is in for a 'no discharge' by-law. If the Crown Land is Provincially owned, net search 'B.C. Crown Land' uses. A call to the local Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations office will likely be a lot faster.
