You will have to remove the cross pins & remove the front site from the barrel to change the front handguard cap to a triangle cap from a round one .
So it's not as easy as you say
Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.

You will also need a straight, as opposed to angled, delta ring and a pistol grip without the bump for it to be "correct". I think the lower is the A2 type with the reinforced rear but that is minor. Can anybody confirm that USGI furniture will fit?

Get usgi original plastic for it. There was a time when there was lots of it. I got a lot of the ex national guard M16 plastic a few
    years ago.

If this 'common sense' bill actually makes any changes to AR's

    I'd probably pick one up!

I'm an old cold warrior, so this IS my style of AR.
Can we get some more details on this rifle?
    Arsenal?
    Who manufactures them?
Isn't that a Chicom oil bottle?
Whazzup? Are the bad old guys making the
    good old guys' rifles now?
    Do tell.
I've got my itchy finger on mousey's trigger...

They are Norinco made in China .
But if you can find the right USGI parts you can make a bastard of your own
It's not as easy as some say though
