Yeah the mag still only holds 5 rounds of the cartridge for which it was designed (.50 Beo) so it's not in any way prohibited, regardless what firearm it's used in (or modified to use in)
It would need the same sanding to work in a .50 Beo AR as the magwells are all mil spec? Just a thought

No, the T97's are known to have tighter magwells.
Out of curiosity, would someone be able to copy and paste the part of the firearms act that talks about magazine modification. I cant seem to find it. (And not the part about modifying magazines to hold less rounds through the use of pin etc.)
You can't find it because it isn't there.

its not a prohibited device now. just tweaking a mass produced part to fit another mass produced part. no changes of intent, no changes of capacity, no changes of cartridge type, not making it work with a prohib round, or in a prohib firearm.
