update on the 10 round AT15 pistol mags JAN 30 2015 MAGS are in stock

2 years ago we had CAA in Israel make 10 round mags for our AT15 pistols.
They were pretty good mags overall, so we ordered and paid for a ton more of them, that was 14 months ago.
To date we are still waiting for them and have been fed every excuse possible, so I have asked them to return my money.
So far nothing.
HOWEVER we have worked out a deal with a local injection molding company to manufacture these mags but with several improvements. The improvements being better more durable polymer, absolute only 10 round capacity, better quality stainless spring, as well as being available in several colors. Black, FDE and OD obviously, but also the possibility of hot pink followers and base plates as well as glow in the dark.

These mags are going to cost us more, but we will be honoring the pricing set for the Gen 1 mags for those who have either prepaid or are on the pre-order list.

Any chance of these in 7.62x39?

No as we do not manufacture an AT15 pistol in that caliber.

any idea of what the new price will be? For those of us not lucky enough to be on the pre order list.

We are trying hard to keep in the same $28.00 per mag range as the originals, but until we actually get them made will not have a 100% firm price on new orders. It may vary a buck or 2 at the worst.

Is it going to be possible to disassemble this new version for cleaning?

Given the revisions on the base plate and follower, most likely they will be able to disassemble although with a stainless steel spring I don't understand why you would want to.
The gen 1 mags also had a stainless spring so all I do with them is wash them in soap and water, they come out squeaky clean.
A minute in the ultrasonic cleaner also makes them surgically clean.

Will these still have the longer body for better fit into mag pouches?

And when you say absolute 10 round capacity, do you mean they won't be 10.5 for seating on a closed bolt?

20 round length of mag body, and a 10.5 round capacity.

what profile are the mags IE short 10 rounders, 20 round or the ever elusive 30 round profile.

20 round mag length for the body. A 30 round body creates many issues with a long follower that we just could not overcome. And frankly a 30 hanging out the bottom of a pistol looks odd.
