Could you guys kindly list the firearms that were used?
That might help to get to the bottom of this.

I have been shooting it out of my vz58. The primers have been indented but the rounds won't go off even after multiple times put back into the rifle.

It's a little upsetting but for the price it's not the end of the world.

I have had same issue. Probably 1 or 2 rounds per box. Also I find bullet seat not the best as once in a while it will catch the feed lip of my vz and push the bullet in the case. I have so many 7.62 round (Thanks canam and budget shooter supply) I just moved to the Norinco white box and not a single FTF or FTE. Just my 2 cents.

Really? I'm firing out of an xcr-l. 400 rounds of fmj & hp each and have had zero issues.

I purchased the hp for my cz-527 and it is the most consistan round I have tried so far for groupings. I have tried a few different types surplus rounds given to me and I purchased MFS soft point rounds. I have not had any duds with hollow points and have shot just over 500 rounds. I liked it so much I bought more. I figure, once I found a round I am consistant with, get it because it works for me and my rifle.

Still not sure if i should go for HP or FMJ.
Im not expecting the HP to expand, but maybe it offers better ballistics in flight?
I know that a lot of "Match" rounds made for accuracy are a HP with a boat tail.

no issues with dominion 7.62x39. I had a few rtf with their 9mm rounds. I believe it was a hard primer.
