I believe the outdoor range "club de tir reusseau noir " (spelling may differ) , its on the north shore just above laval. i live in the west island montreal and it takes me about 40 min to get there.
Call them and find out or just go and shoot, no one inspected my ammo..

^^^ That one is closer to where i live but it's open only on Saturdays. i opted for "Club De Tir L'acadie" which is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10 to 5 a bit further but i like Wednesdays lol
And btw in the rules it does not say no steel core.

they are open saturday, sunday (and tuesday if i remember correctly)
