    Armakov?

Love your AR platform but really prefer the performance of the 7.62 x 39 round? Well now you can have your cake and eat it too!!

We have in stock Armalite M15A4 carbines in 7.62x39. They are 16" barreled rifles with flattop A4 uppers. They have the normal polymer furniture (no rails) and can be had in either black or green furniture colours. The green furniture is being discontinued by Armalite so once these are gone there most likely will be no more.

The price on these sweet shooting little rifles is $1299.00 plus tax and free shipping if you take advantage of our August promotion.

Tubes are alooooomineeeum so they seem to last quite well and spray some WD-40 into it, that helps a lot too.

What's with the A1 style pistol grip -- any chance at getting that as a spare part?

Aren't gas tubes made of stainless steel??? Aloooomineeeeum would probably melt (but still be rust free!)

Aluminum has a melting point of 660 degrees C , it's softening point is a little bit lower but not considerably lower as there is a fine line between softening and melting AL. I would think it would deform/fail if you aggressively tortured the rifle with thousands of rounds as fast as possible until failure occurred but most are unlikely to put a rifle through that much abuse IMHO.
