    Emt?

    Greetings!!

I am looking at the equipment exchange for my first firearm . Can someone tell me what EMT means? I think it has something to do with the shipping.

    Much thanks!

An Email Money Transfer (EMT) is a way to safely send money over the internet from your bank account to another person

Wow! Fast Replies! Thanks! No one seems to want to trust me as a buyer as I have no feedback. Any tips?

what is there to trust ? you send money , they send object after they your receive money ......

but you only have 4 posts and just over a month here ..... hang out in the forums , make some posts so guys can get to know you a little bit .

(just a quick note , if it appears too good to be true , or is expensive , talking on the phone first before sending money is recommended )

I do more reading than posting and most of my posts are replies (LOTS) which don't get counted in the posts section. I'll just have to hang in there. I agree, money coming in has nothing to be worried about. Oh we'll.

The whole post count/feedback rating way of rating people is flawed. We've had people in the past who farmed their rating up by buying and selling $5 parts individually, and then they get into a deal for a $3000 rifle and walk away with the guy's money.

Generally speaking, most people want to deal with people who have higher post counts and ratings due to most scammers not really having the dedication of spending a few months posting.

Likewise with a lot of people being suspicious of "what's it worth" posts and new people who jump right into huge deals. There have been more than a few guy who start up a thread about their "grandpa's guns" and then two weeks later put up a sale ad for the most desirable variant that was discussed in the thread. There have also been some guys who use the system like a payday loan, they post up some valuable rifle like a Tavor with a $1500 optic, and then stall the deal and refund the guy's money next payday. Generally, if a guy is willing to stick around and post about miscellaneous stuff he's not likely to be a scammer.

That makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately for us noobs, we can't catch a break. I have 100% good intentions and want to buy but without that mark below the name, it's hard. I am looking at one firearm on there right now that would be grand but I think that maybe the seller doesn't think I am serious (I offered a slightly lower cost than offered and have not heard back). Here, seller: have my money and let's juice up this low feedback count. Ah well, I guess I will keep my posts up by writing even if I don't think the posts are worth it. It's sad but I understand. See you in my next post!
