    Father in-law inheritance

    Hey guys,

Recently my father in-law passed away, he had few rifles that belong to him, his father and his grandfathers. My wife did want her father's guns to stay within the family so they are being stored temporary with a relative until I upgrade from POL to PAL. I'm no expert so I'm not really sure what type of rifles they are other that they need lots of TLC! Here what they look like. Let me know what you think.

Mini 14 for the bottom one for sure. Cooey/Eatons?ranger shotgun for the second down in the first picture. I think a Mauser is the third down in the first picture.

First one seems to be a pellet gun .177
Fourth one seems to be a Winchester 1885. Low wall.

    I don't think that's a 10/22....hard to tell for sure (crappy pic) but I'm thinking its a .44 carbine.

Its a 10/22. The .44 has a slot in the receiver, and you can see the hollow in the bottom of the .22 magazine; also the scope mount.
It would be really nice if it were a .44, though.

No need to upgrade from POL to PAL, simply have the family member lend you the firearms ...
